After your classical guitar online video lesson, you will play the piece better and you will know what to do to improve it even more.

How are these lessons different from the hundreds available on the Internet?

1. These online classical guitar lessons give you access to a master teacher with 50 years of teaching experience. Doug studied with such diverse masters as Andres Segovia, Pepe Romero, Christopher Parkening, Narciso Yepes, Oscar Ghiglia, and Jorge Morel. Therefore, Doug provides solutions for you from a variety of perspectives and schools of thought.

2. Doug is a seasoned, successful concert and recording artist. He gives accurate, reliable advice that has been tested in performance on the concert stage that will work for you at home.

3. The video/audio quality of our lessons is superior to Skype and other platforms. Nothing to download and total privacy. Our technology provides crystal-clear video and great audio.

Do I have to take lessons every week? I don't think I can afford that. I don't have time for that.

No, take a lesson only when you feel you need it. You can take a lesson each week, or occasionally every month or two, or a few times a year. It is up to you.

What if I take a lesson and after it is finished, don't think it was very good?

When you take a lesson, it is at no risk to you. You don't pay for any lesson until after it is completed. If for whatever reason you don't like the lesson or tech issues ruin the lesson, you don't pay. Period.

If you were satisfied with the lesson, you will be sent an invoice you can pay by credit card or PayPal.

Requirements

You will need:

A laptop with a built-in webcam and mic, or a desktop computer with an external plugin webcam with mic. An iPad will work but the experience will be diminished because of the small screen size.

For PCs: Windows XP with SP3, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 or 10 both 32- and 64-bit operating systems. For Macs: OSX 10.9 or above.

You must use either the Chrome or Firefox browser.

You must speak English.

If you want to work on a piece, please email me a copy of your music immediately after we have scheduled your lesson time. This will give me time to review the piece before we meet so I can give you the best possible lesson. It is essential that you write in your left-hand and right-hand fingerings. And, make sure the measures are numbered.
