Douglas Niedt’s “How to Learn a New Piece” Flowchart

HOW TO USE THE FLOWCHART
  1. Click any of the six colored ovals on the left to open that section. Click a shape inside to reveal further details; click it again to close it. If open items start to overlap, close each item before moving on.
  2. Green boxes marked with link to articles. Click one and its name will pop up in a small white box; click that link and the article will open in a new tab — the flowchart stays open in this tab.
  3. Yellow cards open a detail page with in-depth guidance.
  4. Scroll with the mouse wheel like a normal page, or click and drag to move the chart in any direction.
  5. To zoom in and out, hold Ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel, or click the on-screen and + buttons just below these instructions.
Fit brings the whole chart back into view, and Collapse all closes everything to start over.
