GUITAR THEORY AND EAR TRAINING

Learn To Identify Guitar Scales by Ear

This is so amazing. Click on the gear icon in the upper right. You can choose:

  1. Choose which scales you want the game to play. You can choose any or all of the basics—major, natural minor, harmonic minor, and melodic minor. Or, you can kick it up a few notches by adding the modes. Add in the pentatonic, blues, whole tone, and chromatic and you have 13 scales the game can throw at you.
  2. Choose the play mode: low note to high note, high note to low note, or full ascent and descent.
  3. Choose speed from very slow to very very fast!

NOTE: If you need to hear the scale played again or several times, click in the box with the speaker icon.

This new version works on all Windows and Mac desktops and laptops.
But, it may not display well on some tablets and phones.
